Geelong

Overview:

What if your Physiotherapy role came with real mentoring, a varied caseload, NFP salary packaging, and a 1pm finish every Friday? Kids+ has been delivering specialist allied health therapy to children and young people in Geelong for over 20 years. We're a warm, research-engaged multidisciplinary team, and we're looking for physiotherapists who want to grow with us. Early to mid-career therapists are welcome to apply.

Who you'll be working with

Our clients are infants, children, and young people with disabilities - supported from birth through to young adulthood. Your caseload will span the full scope of paediatric physiotherapy, focusing on gross motor development, mobility, strength, balance, postural control, and functional movement for participation in home, school, and community life. This may include gait training, assistive mobility devices, early developmental support, and goals that promote independence in movement and physical participation. No two days look the same.

What your career at Kids+ looks like

The work itself

- Mostly clinic-based, with some community and home visits to keep things varied
- A genuinely diverse caseload with access to sector-leading facilities and equipment
- Laptop, phone, and a well-resourced office provided, plus an IT team when you need them
- A dedicated admin team handling calls, bookings, payments, and NDIS support so you can focus on your clients

Your growth

- A dedicated mentor from day one, plus weekly supervision with your Team Leader or Clinical Supervisor
- Fortnightly Think Tanks — structured caseload discussions designed for shared learning across the team
- Monthly team meetings and quarterly development days for PD and team building
- Opportunities to get involved in research and projects
- Full NDIS induction and shadow sessions to set you up for success

The culture

- A genuinely inclusive, supportive team who look out for each other
- Transparent management that communicates openly and takes wellbeing seriously

- Regular social activities - because a team that enjoys each other does better work

The perks

- Above award salary + super
- 6 weeks annual leave
- NFP salary packaging (more take-home pay)
- Travel allowance
- 1pm finish every Friday — every week, not just sometimes

About the role

Reporting to a Team Leader, you'll:

- Deliver family-centred therapy as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team
- Assess functional skills and develop individualised therapy plans
- Run individual and group sessions focused on communication, participation, and independence
- Prescribe and support assistive technology and equipment
- Work across clinic, home, and community settings
- Keep clinical documentation accurate and timely
- Be a genuine contributor to team culture

About you

You'll need:

- A degree in Physiotherapy and current AHPRA registration
- Unrestricted Australian working rights
- A current Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Check, and Police Check (NDIS Worker Check required before start date)
- A current driver's licence

You're also someone who:
- Thrives in a team and genuinely enjoys collaborating
- Has a growth mindset — you ask questions and embrace feedback
- Communicates with warmth, clarity, and empathy
- Is organised, adaptable, and takes quality seriously

Paediatric experience is a bonus, not a barrier — comprehensive training is provided for those new to the field.
