A Little Letter from the Children at Only About Children Coogee Beach

Hello there, new grown-up friend!

We're the children at Only About Children Coogee Beach, and we've been making big wishes for someone very special to help lead our warm, happy community. Our campus is full of laughter, tiny footsteps, and the smell of crayons and sunshine. We're a cosy 55-place service with bright learning spaces and outdoor areas where we chase bubbles, spot butterflies, and make friends with the trees.

Every day, we build towers to the sky, paint masterpieces, and discover new wonders about our world. But we need a grown-up leader who believes that every day is a chance to grow, explore, and smile.

We need a super smart person to help guide us and our educators on a journey or exploration, collaboration, and exciting new experiences to develop our learning and development. We love learning and can't wait to see how you will imprint your own experience and knowldge into our classrooms to help us learn more every day.

What You'll Do

- Guide curriculum development across the campus, helping teams create meaningful and responsive learning programs.
- Lead consistent implementation of the assessment and planning cycle across rooms.
- Support educators with planning, documentation, intentional teaching and reflective practice.
- Coach teams to connect children's interests, family input, observations and curriculum decision-making.
- Champion children's voice, rights, agency and meaningful participation in learning.
- Contribute to QIP, self-assessment,



Assessment and Rating preparation and educational practice goals.
- Build educator confidence through mentoring, professional inquiry, collaboration and role modelling.

All We Ask Is That You

- Hold a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)
- Have prior Educational Leader or senior leadership experience
- NESA accredited and holding a valid WWCC and Police Check
- Communicate with warmth, clarity, and care
- Believe that the little moments make the biggest memories
- Prioritise our safety and security at childcare
