Hays is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Officer for an education organisation in Tasmania. This opportunity will suit someone who brings a practical approach to employee relations and is confident supporting managers and employees with workplace matters.

Your new role

You will provide practical employee relations advice and support, helping managers navigate workplace issues with professionalism and care. Your work will include supporting employee relations case management, interpreting relevant awards, enterprise agreements and policies, preparing correspondence, and maintaining accurate, confidential records. You will build effective working relationships and help ensure matters are handled consistently and in line with relevant requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

Previous employee relations experience is essential.



You will bring sound knowledge of workplace legislation and industrial instruments, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage sensitive matters with discretion. You will be organised, confident about managing competing priorities, and able to turn complex information into clear, practical advice. You must be available to work Monday to Friday.
