Funding & Partnerships Coordinator

City of Mount Gambier | Permanent full time

As the City of Mount Gambier’s Funding and Partnerships Coordinator, you’ll help turn promising ideas into things people can actually experience. You’ll bring the funding expertise, build the relationships and lead a team of two, with plenty of variety to keep your brain busy.

The role

You’ll help Council secure investment and deliver its community priorities through:

- Finding government, philanthropic and private funding opportunities.
- Writing persuasive applications backed by sound budgets and project plans.
- Building relationships with funding bodies, community organisations and event partners.
- Coordinating Council grants and supporting event delivery.
- Managing funding agreements, reporting, compliance and acquittals.
- Leading a small team of two staff and improving the systems that keep everything moving.
