Start your EP career in a clinic built for exercise physiology

Seniors Fitness is an Exercise Physiology clinic in Bondi Junction, helping older adults stay strong, steady and independent. We work with clients in our own private gym and in their homes, covering falls prevention, chronic disease management, rehabilitation, and strength and conditioning.

You won’t be squeezed into the corner of a commercial gym. Our clinic is fully equipped, purpose-built for exercise physiology, and used only by our team and our clients.

About the role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, personable Exercise Physiologist in their 1st to 3rd year of practice to join our team. New graduates are very welcome.

This is a part-time or casual role. You’ll build your own caseload with support from experienced EPs, so you’ll keep developing your clinical skills while you work.

What you’ll do

- Assess clients and track their progress over time
- Design, deliver and progress individual and small group programs
- Run group classes, including classes with our partner business
- Visit clients in their homes, using a company car
- Write clear, up-to-date client notes and reports to GPs and other health professionals
- Educate clients about their health and how exercise can help
- Help with social media and day-to-day admin

What we offer

- Mentoring and supervision from experienced Accredited Exercise Physiologists
- Our own private clinic, not a commercial gym floor
- Keiser equipment and the Strength by Numbers AxIT assessment system
- A loyal, long-term client base and a wide-ranging caseload
- Freedom to design your own programs
- A company car for home visits
- A uniform provided
- Room to grow in clinical practice and leadership as the business expands

About you

- You hold, or are eligible for, ESSA accreditation as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist
- You are eligible for a Medicare provider number
- You have (or can get before starting) SIRA accreditation, professional indemnity insurance, current First Aid and CPR, and a driver licence
- You enjoy working with older adults and building long-term relationships with clients
- You communicate clearly with clients, families, colleagues and GPs
- You’re organised, use your initiative and are comfortable working independently
- You’re keen to keep learning
- Halaxy experience is a bonus, but we’ll train you

How to apply Send your resume and a short cover letter to Em Moore at [email protected]. Tell us why you’d like to work with older adults.

We’re interviewing as applications come in, so apply early.
