Fitness Instructor to join our agile team at our state-of-the-art recreation facilities at the Karratha

Leisureplex.

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Group Fitness Instructor, you will be responsible for the safe and effective provision of a quality group fitness program to the community.

- Maintain professionalism by adhering to industry regulations, ensuring safety, duty of care, and providing clear communicationwhile also being proactive in professional development.
- Ensure classes/programs are relevant
- Assist in planning and evaluation of the group fitness program, including timetable
- changes to constantly improve the quality of the programme offered at the centre.
- Ongoing evaluation and adaption to meet participant need.
- Prepare and maintain equipment and ensure the cleanliness and proper functioning of the class environment.




- Actively contribute to planning, evaluating, and improving the group fitness program

What We're Looking For:

- Relevant group fitness certification and experience
- Ability to analyse and respond to changes in the group fitness industry.
- Be prepared to undertake training as determined by fitness industry trends.
- Report all accidents, incidents and hazardous situations.
- Certificate III in Fitness
- Certificate IV in Fitness desirable
- Current First Aid Certificate
- National (or Federal) Police Certificate (no more than 6 months old)
- Ability to work across operational hours (Monday – Sunday)
- Current C class driver’s license
