About the Role

Loan Market Connect is looking for a proactive, organised and commercially minded Growth & Operations Manager to join the team.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys combining business operations, reporting, relationship management and business growth. While the role has an operational focus, it goes beyond traditional office management, with a strong emphasis on improving processes, supporting the partnership department and identifying opportunities to help the business grow.

You’ll play an important role in keeping the business running efficiently, ensuring processes are followed, maintaining strong communication with clients and referral partners, and providing meaningful insights into business performance.

You don’t need previous experience in mortgage broking. We’re more interested in someone with robust operational skills, a commercial mindset and the ability to bring structure, accountability and fresh ideas to a growing business.

What You'll Be Doing

Business Operations & Reporting

- Prepare monthly business performance wraps and reporting across the entire business.

- Monitor appointment tracking and reporting to measure progress from appointment through to submission.

- Maintain and monitor appointment spreadsheets, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.

- Ensure referral partners are correctly recorded against deals.

- Oversee the backbook process and ensure consistent follow-up procedures are in place.

- Identify opportunities to improve internal processes, systems and overall business efficiency.

Growth & Partnerships





- Support the growth of the business by identifying opportunities to improve performance and implement more effective procedures.

- Coordinate and schedule partnership meetings with referrers as part of the directors' partnership.

- Support the partnership department with reporting, organisation and ongoing relationship management.

- Maintain the client database and help ensure client and referral partner information is accurate and well managed.

- Assist with client referrals and ongoing client communication.

Marketing & Social Media

- Coordinate social media activity and plan content for the month ahead.

- Liaise with contractors to support marketing initiatives and content planning.

- Ensure marketing activities are organised, consistent and aligned with the wider business objectives.

About You

You’re someone who enjoys taking ownership, improving the way things are done and helping a business operate more effectively. You’re comfortable working across multiple areas of a business and can balance the detail of day-to-day operations with the bigger picture of growth and performance.

You may come from an operations, office management, business coordination or similar background and be ready to step into a broader role with greater commercial responsibility.

Ideally, you'll bring:

- Experience in operations, office management,

- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.

- Confidence working with spreadsheets, databases and reporting.

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify gaps, trends and opportunities for improvement.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and referral partners.

- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to take ownership of processes.

- A commercial mindset, with an interest in business growth, performance and continuous improvement.

Experience in mortgage broking or financial services is not essential. We're open to candidates from a range of industries who can bring the right operational skills, initiative and mindset to the role.
