- Earn $45–$55 per hour + super – Plus a weekly tool allowance of $17.92.

- Plenty of overtime available – Time-and-a-half for the first 3 hours and double time thereafter.

- Additional earning potential through call-outs – $300 weekly standby allowance, plus a minimum of 3 hours’ overtime pay per call-out.

Duties/Responsibilities

- Undertake day to day truck and trailer repair and maintenance activities to ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness.

- Servicing and maintaining trucks and trailers as per the customer requests.

- Ensure good liaison with Operations staff on vehicle availability against maintenance schedule, making sure vehicles are maintained and ready to use as required.

- Respond to, investigate and repair vehicle defects as notified by drivers.

Skills and Experience Qualification & Licences:

- Forklift Licence and Safe Working at Heights (Desirable) Skills:

- Have a solid adherence OH&S; and in keeping as safe workplace

- Self-motivated and able to work independently as required Experience:

- Trade qualification as a Mechanic or equivalent or relevant experience

- Experience in maintaining trailers is essential

- Experience speaking with customers and resolving any concerns or issues
