Profectus is seeking an experienced ILS Manager to support secure communications equipment acquisition and modernisation projects within an Australian Government agency. The role provides ILS advice and documentation to projects in the acquisition and roll out phases, and develops ILS content for Government submissions seeking approval for the next iteration of capability. The work covers ILS planning and documentation, ILS Working Groups, transition into sustainment and training requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, coordinate and facilitate monthly ILS Working Groups (ILSWG), including minutes and action tracking
- Develop, review and update ILS documentation for acquisition projects and Government submissions, including ILSPs, ILSIs, Engineering Management Instructions, Product Support Analysis (PSA) and Physical Configuration Audit (PCA) documentation
- Draft ILS content for Government submission documents
- Review ILS documentation produced by internal teams and external contractors
- Coordinate ILS document endorsement and secure Capability Operator acceptance before transition
- Support transition of ILS deliverables into sustainment, contributing to Transition Plans and sustainment strategies
- Identify training requirements, develop Training Plans and support delivery of training outcomes
- Update acquisition ILS artefacts following system changes, test outcomes or capability enhancements, in line with configuration and engineering changes
- Contribute to Project Management Plans, risk workshops and Engineering Management Plans
- Engage with Capability Sponsor,



Capability Operator, vendors and platform ILS managers to align ILS activities
- Provide regular status updates on ILS activities, risks and issues

Required Experience
- Integrated Logistics Support management on Defence acquisition or sustainment projects
- Drafting Government submission documentation
- Materiel Codification Catalogue Course (MCCAT)
- Introduction to Codification
- Asset Under Construction (AUC) experience with the Asset Capitalisation Tool (ACT) or Asset Rollout Tool (ART)
- Foreign Military Sales (FMS) experience
- Configuration management tool experience
- SAP S/4HANA experience

Desirable Experience
- Exposure to communications security (COMSEC) or high assurance cryptographic equipment
- Working with export licences and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements
- Transition of recent capability into Defence sustainment arrangements
- Experience with Defence Capability Life Cycle projects in the Capability Development phase
- Developing training needs analysis and Training Plans

Security Clearance Requirements
- Must be an Australian Citizen
- Must have a current AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance

Working Arrangements
- Minimum 3 days per week onsite
- Canberra
