The essential requirements for this role are:

Previous experience in relevant trade (Carpentry and Joinery, Engineering related discipline ie Boilermaker or Sheetmetal, Horticulture or Chef)

Experience in leading with the ability to motivate and encourage others to meet the challenges of demanding work roles

Experience and understanding of case management in a human services field

Experience in managing resources

Problem solving

Networking skills

Risk management

Case management skills

Conflict resolution

Computer and keyboard skills

Communication skills

Ability to liaise with people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds

Qualifications, qualified registration, conditions and other requirements

Must already be an accredited Custodial Correctional Officer and possess a current Certificate III in Correctional Practices.

- Certificate IV in Correctional Practice is a prerequisite for appointment to the role of Correctional Supervisor.
