About the role

Provides general labouring support on client and principal-contractor sites, working safely and to the standard set by the Team Leader. The role is physically demanding and mostly outdoors, with early starts and travel between sites.

Key responsibilities

- Carry out general labouring tasks as directed by the Team Leader, such as set-up and pack-down, loading and unloading, hand work, moving materials and site clean-up

- Follow the SWMS and site rules for each job, and ask if you are unsure about a task

- Look after tools, equipment and materials, and report damage or faults

- Arrive on time, ready and fit for work, and attend toolbox talks and prestart meetings

- Work respectfully with colleagues, clients and other contractors on site

- Leave work areas clean and protected, and dispose of waste correctly

- Follow company and site inductions,



SWMS/JSA and site rules. Stop any task you believe is unsafe and tell your supervisor

- Wear the PPE the task requires, and hold current tickets and licences for the work you do

- Report hazards, near misses, incidents and injuries to your Team Leader or manager as soon as you can

- Do the work to the standard agreed with the client, and report anything that doesn't meet it

About you

- White Card

- Current driver's licence where travel between sites is required

- Working With Children Check where a client site requires it preferred but not essential

- Site induction; manual handling; chemical handling where relevant to the work
