The Role
Southern Cross Protection is looking for qualified and customer-focused security officers to join our Loss Prevention team, in either a Full-time or Part-time capacity.
This role will see you positioned at the front of the store greeting customers, conducting voluntary bag checks, and completing and filing end-of-day reports. This role suits people who can maintain a tidy and professional appearance.
The Tasks
- Acknowledge and greet customers entering the store
- Maintain a visible security presence to help deter theft and protect stock
- Greet customers upon their arrival at the store
- Conduct voluntary bag checks
- Identify potential risks and coordinate response with the in-store team
- Maintain a record of all people entering and exiting the site
- Provide accurate incident reports

The successful candidate
- Hold a valid WA security licence
- Must be First Aid certified
- Be reliable and willing to cover shifts at short notice
- Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Maintain a tidy appearance
- Be able to consistently keep a positive and friendly attitude towards customers
- Must be willing to workday or night shifts
