About the Opportunity An established and growing business is seeking a hands on Management Accountant to join its finance team on an initial 2-month temporary contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional with strong technical accounting skills, advanced Excel capabilities and experience across financial reporting and systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Process monthly reports and complete standing journals.
- Run trial balance, accounts payable, and accounts receivable ledgers.
- Prepare fixed asset reports and payroll journals.
- Generate and review sales reports.
- Assist with month-end reporting, general ledger reconciliations and financial analysis.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis as required.
- - Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and system efficiencies.

About You
- Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar hands-on finance role.




- Strong technical accounting skills and experience supporting month-end processes.
- Advanced Excel skills are essential.
- Experience with financial systems and reporting processes.
- Systems implementation experience will be highly regarded.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and the ability to hit the ground running in a temporary assignment.

- $60–$70 per hour + Super per hour, depending on experience.
