About the Role

We are looking for a Mechanical Designer to produce technical drawings for EPCM projects using Autodesk software. Working with the Engineering and Design Manager, you will prepare 3D models and corresponding 2D layouts and detail drawings, meeting project timeframes, regional standards, discipline codes, and site safety regulations.

Your Key Responsibilities

- Use specialised Autodesk software to produce high-quality technical drawings for EPCM projects.
- Prepare 3D models and corresponding 2D layouts and detail drawings.
- Deliver designs in accordance with regional standards, discipline codes, and site safety regulations.
- Work with the Engineering and Design Manager to deliver project design drawings on time.
- Demonstrate a high standard of personal safety and safe design practices.
- Maintain consistent design and drafting standards.

What We’re Looking For

- 3–5 years’ experience in a similar mechanical design role.
- Competence in using Autodesk software to produce high-quality drafting and design work.
- Demonstrated experience in an EPCM workplace, particularly within consulting companies working with clients.
- Experience with process plants, bulk materials handling systems, and heavy mining machinery will be highly regarded.




- Proven ability to work across multiple projects with different client standards, requirements, and drawing environments.
- A good understanding of document control processes and drawing and model management.
- An Advanced Diploma in Engineering, an equivalent qualification, or suitable trade certificates is desirable.
