- Welcoming customers with a smile and top‑notch service
- Keeping our shelves fresh, full and looking their best
- Creating displays that wow and inspire
- Making sure signage and pricing are spot‑on
- Helping behind the scenes to keep stock in order
- Keeping things clean, safe and running smoothly
- Bringing the market feel to life, every day

What we’re looking for:

- Customer service experience (retail or hospitality is great)
- A team player who communicates well and brings good vibes
- A love for fresh food and all things local
- Someone who’s flexible with availability (we’re a 7‑day‑a‑week kind of store!)

About you

We are looking for someone who loves food, with previous experience working in a fresh food retail business. Additionally, we are looking for someone with:

- Robust attention to detail and organisation skills
- Physically capable of manual handling and being on your feet
- A team player with a strong work ethic
- Flexible availability across a 7‑day roster AM & PM shifts

Core responsibilities

- Filling and rotating stock to maintain full, fresh, and appealing displays
- Keeping the Back of House organised, clean, and well‑managed
- Monitoring stock quality, dates, and rotation (FIFO)
- Maintaining excellent shelf management for accurate customer convenience
- Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards
- Supporting the team to ensure smooth daily operations
