Network Architect | Financial Services | Sydney

$1,050 to $1,200 per day (dependant on experience) | 6 Month Contract | Potential Extension

We are supporting a leading financial services organisation seeking an experienced Network Architect for an initial 6 month contract based in Sydney.

This opportunity will suit a technically robust architect with experience designing and delivering secure, scalable and resilient enterprise network solutions within complex environments.

The role will cover three core areas: Cisco data centre networking, Palo Alto network security and HPE Aruba branch and campus infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead network architecture and design across enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Produce high level and low level designs (HLDs and LLDs).
- Design Cisco data centre solutions, including Nexus, spine leaf, VXLAN, BGP EVPN and ACI.
- Architect Palo Alto firewall solutions, including Panorama, segmentation and high availability.
- Design HPE Aruba switching, wireless and network access control solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering,



security and delivery teams on implementation and network modernisation.
- Ensure solutions meet enterprise security, resilience and regulatory requirements.

Skills & Experience
- Extensive enterprise networking experience with a strong architecture and design background.
- Proven experience across Cisco, Palo Alto and ideally HPE Aruba technologies.
- Strong routing, switching and network security knowledge.
- Previous experience within banking, financial services or another highly regulated industry .
- Excellent technical documentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant Cisco, Palo Alto or Aruba certifications are advantageous.

Contract Details Location: Sydney, NSW

Duration: 6 months, potential extension

Rate: $1,050 to $1,200 per day, dependent on technical expertise and relevant industry experience.
