Our Night Porter plays an important role in keeping our facilities in a safe, clean and orderly condition for Members, visitors and team members. You will be required to perform various cleaning and maintenance tasks using a range of materials and equipment, to restore or maintain buildings in a clean and hygienic condition.

You will ensure any Members, guests and visitors are made to feel welcome, safe and well looked after during the hours of 10pm to 6am. This will include assisting in house accommodation guests and late departures from the Club.

You will also assist in making the Club secure during these hours. You will assist in the Clubs security and fire safety procedures during your shift. We provide a secure, safe and adaptable work environment with full training and have multiple full-time positions on offer.

Summary of Key Responsibilities The role of the Night Porter is to oversee the Club’s night operations, cleaning and monitor Member or guest requests for housekeeping and maintenance. In addition they will support the functions team with event setup and pack downs as required.





- Manage and welcome all Members and guests in a friendly and helpful manner during club opening periods.

- Perform Concierge duties as required including after hours phone calls, late check ins (Post 10pm) and in house guest needs
- The primary focus is general cleaning duties throughout the night as outlined in the duties lists.

- Two nights per week the role will cover all overnight cleaning duties on the night cleaners RDOs.

- Undertake laundry duties including washing, ironing, folding and distribution of F&B;, Health and Wellness centre and Accommodation linen.

- Set up of function rooms and event spaces for upcoming events as directed by F&E; Operations manager or Operations manager

- Preparation of cutlery, glassware and linen for events and F&B; Outlets.

- Safety and security of the building, patrons and staff during shift, including ensuring all access points and doors are secured in line with Club policy.

- Direct and oversee all Club operations during the night shift to ensure Member/guest satisfaction and safety including security of the building and facilities

- Maintain a professional and high quality service oriented environment at all times

- Act as Supervisor on duty for the Club which includes acting as chief fire warden, dealing with complaints, problem solving, disturbances, special requests and any other issues that may arise

- Reporting to the Property Operations Manager any maintenance issues via iAuditor





- Take reasonable care for your personal health and safety and safety of other team members, contractors, Club members and visitors through co-operation with management and compliance with relevant legislation

Essential Requirements

- The role will generally be working Wednesday to Sunday starting at 10pm till 6am

- Previous night cleaning or Night Porter experience in a similar environment

- Previous use of cleaning machinery (preferred)

- First Aid Certified (Will be provided if not held)

- Good knowledge of WHS procedures

- Strong customer service skills and clear communication
- A commitment to safety and understanding of safe chemical use
