Paralegal - Help Us Win the Good Fight!

We're looking for a sharp, driven and experienced Paralegal to join our growing In-House Legal Team on the Gold Coast.

Working alongside our specialist legal and technical teams, you'll play an active role in managing disputed insurance claims, researching complex matters and developing strong, evidence-backed arguments to achieve the best possible outcomes for our customers.

This isn't your typical administrative paralegal role. We're looking for someone who enjoys getting into the detail, thinking critically and taking real ownership of their work.

What You'll Be Doing

- Assist our in-house Lawyers and Technical Team in managing complex insurance disputes including AFCA and QCAT.

- Draft compelling legal correspondence, submissions and responses to insurer decisions.

- Conduct legal research, including case law, legislation, insurance codes and dispute precedents.

- Review evidence, analyse legal issues and assist in developing dispute resolution strategies.

- Take an active role in progressing matters and achieving successful outcomes.

- Contribute to improving our legal processes and dispute resolution strategies.

About You

We're looking for someone with a sharp legal mind, strong initiative and the confidence to get involved in substantive legal work.

Ideally, you'll bring:

- 2–3 years' experience as a Paralegal,



although we're open to candidates with less experience who have had significant hands-on involvement in legal matters.

- Experience in litigation, commercial, insurance or corporate law is highly regarded.

- Demonstrated experience drafting legal correspondence, conducting research and actively progressing matters.

- Strong written communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.

- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to take ownership of your work.

- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Above all, we're looking for someone who has been actively involved in legal matters, rather than solely providing administrative support, and is eager to continue developing their legal expertise.
