Pharmacy Assistant – Casual or Part-time roles are available

Capital Chemist O’Connor is Canberra’s original late-night pharmacy.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Pharmacy Assistant to join our team.

Duties will include:

- Customer service and sales- including assisting the sale of Schedule 2 and Schedule 3 medicines, accepting prescriptions to be dispensed, providing advice on over-the-counter medicines
- Cash handling and register operations
- Replenish stock and maintain inventory levels
- Maintain the presentation of the store and services area

Attributes of the successful candidate:

- Has a dedicated work ethic
- Abilityto provide excellent customer service and build valuable rapport with customers
- Ability to work as part of the team
- Able to work flexible hours which may include nights, weekends, and public holidays. Must be available to work November and December 2026.
- Motivated to learn and grow with the business
- Previous pharmacy experience is desirable, but training will be offered to the successful candidate.
