Join the Queensland Mental Health Commission's Suicide Data and Surveillance team and help ensure the quality and reliability of Queensland's suicide surveillance data.

This position involves reviewing detailed records relating to suicide deaths, extracting and coding relevant information, and accurately entering data into a secure database in accordance with established procedures.

The role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgement, the ability to interpret complex and sometimes incomplete information, and confidence working with data systems and technology.

While primarily focused on data review and entry, the position supports broader suicide prevention efforts by ensuring high-quality information is available to inform decision-making.

Applicants should be comfortable working with sensitive and confronting material and able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
