We are currently working with a boutique private credit fund that is continuing to grow its real estate lending platform in Sydney. The fund provides private credit solutions across a range of commercial real estate transactions, with deal sizes typically ranging from $1mil to $100mil.

We are looking for a Associate / Senior Associate to join the investment team, with exposure across the full transaction lifecycle from initial assessment and structuring through to execution and portfolio management.

Responsibilities

- Analyse and assess recent real estate lending opportunities
- Undertake detailed financial, cash flow and credit analysis
- Assist with structuring transactions and assessing risk / return
- Prepare investment and credit papers for Investment Committee
- Work closely with originators, borrowers, advisors and other stakeholders




- Support the execution and settlement of transactions
- Monitor existing investments and provide ongoing portfolio analysis

Requirements

- Experience in real estate credit within a bank or private credit fund
- Strong financial modelling and credit analysis skills
- Ability to assess complex transactions and identify key risks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commercial mindset with an interest in private credit and alternative lending
