Senior Business Analyst (Records Management) | Canberra | Federal Government Contract

We're seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support the delivery and enhancement of a major enterprise Records Management Platform (RMP) within a Federal Government environment.

- Contract duration: 8 + 12 + 12 months
- Location of work: Canberra / Hybrid
- Application closing date: Friday, 30 October 2026
- Security Clearance: Baseline
- Estimated start date: Monday, 09 November 2026

This role will focus on gathering and analysing business requirements, engaging stakeholders, documenting AS-IS and TO-BE processes, and supporting the successful delivery of a modern enterprise records management solution.

Key Requirements:

✅ 6+ years' Business Analysis experience

✅ Australian Federal Government experience

✅ Strong AS-IS / TO-BE process mapping and process improvement skills

✅ Experience with BPMN, Visio, workflows, swim lanes, and business process modelling





✅ Proven stakeholder engagement across business, procurement, legal, finance, and technology teams

✅ Experience supporting testing, implementation, and business change activities

Highly Desirable:

⭐ Records Management or EDRMS project experience

⭐ Knowledge of Records Information Management concepts and practices
