Profectus is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support the sustainment, enhancement and data migration of a secure web application within an Australian Government agency. The application is built on Angular and aggregates data from multiple authoritative sources to support decision making. The work covers requirements analysis, business process analysis, data migration requirements and acceptance testing.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead business analysis for application sustainment, feature enhancement and data migration
- Elicit, analyse and document business requirements with senior stakeholders and end users
- Document business processes and information needs that rely on data from multiple authoritative sources
- Write user stories and acceptance criteria, and support backlog refinement and prioritisation
- Document business rules and data requirements for migration to an enterprise data platform
- Support data quality management and remediation with business stakeholders
- Support quality assurance and user acceptance testing
- Develop and maintain business analysis documentation
- Transfer knowledge to government staff

Required Experience

- Experience as a Business Analyst on enterprise software or data programs
- Experience eliciting and documenting requirements,



business rules and acceptance criteria
- Experience working in agile delivery teams, including backlog refinement
- Experience on data migration or data integration projects
- Experience working on Angular-based enterprise web applications
- Experience engaging senior stakeholders and end users
- Experience working within Defence or another Australian Government agency

Desirable Experience

- Experience working within the Defence Secret workplace or other classified environments
- Experience with Defence preparedness, sustainment or mobilisation business areas
- Experience with data quality remediation
- IIBA certification such as CBAP or CCBA
- Experience with Jira and Confluence

Security Clearance Requirements

- Must be an Australian Citizen
- Must have a current AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance (minimum)
