6-month contract | Integration Engineer with WSO2, Java, API integration and Duck Creek/similar experience

Your new company

You'll join an established organisation delivering a significant technology transformation program. The program is approaching final testing and Go Live, creating an opportunity for an experienced Senior Integration Engineer to provide hands-on support through this critical delivery phase.

Your new role

As Senior Integration Engineer, you'll work across a complex enterprise integration environment, supporting integrations between Duck Creek, internal systems and third-party APIs.

Your responsibilities will include

- Testing, troubleshooting and resolving integration defects
- Supporting integrations between Duck Creek, third-party APIs and internal platforms
- Mapping and transforming JSON and XML data between systems
- Debugging connectivity issues and implementing error-handling and retry logic
- Supporting middleware and legacy ESB migration activities
- Assisting with security hardening, patching and remediation of penetration testing findings
- Supporting test cycles, cutover and early-life support through Go Live
- Producing clear technical documentation and collaborating with BAs, testers, technology teams and vendors





What you'll need to succeed You'll be a senior integration engineer who can quickly become productive in a complex enterprise environment. Ideally, you'll bring:

- Robust middleware/integration experience, including WSO2, Micro Integrator or similar
- Experience migrating legacy ESB integration flows
- Strong development/engineering capability across Java, REST and SOAP APIs and SQL
- Experience with IDAM, API security and security best practices
- Exposure to Boomi and cloud environments such as Azure or AWS
- Experience with Duck Creek, Guidewire or a comparable enterprise integration ecosystem
- Previous experience within insurance, Tier-1 banking or another regulated environment
- Ability to work effectively within tight delivery and testing timelines

What you'll get in return 6-month contract, Adelaide preferred but open to other locations across Australia.
