Senior Manager, Security Consulting

We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Security Consulting to join a large, well-known Australian brand.

You’ll lead a team of Senior Security Consultants, providing the guidance, support and mentorship they need to deliver exceptional security consulting across the organisation.

You’ll build a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and technical excellence, while staying hands-on in your own domain as an expert consultant.

The role

- Lead, coach and develop a team of Senior Security Consultants, setting clear priorities and supporting their career progression
- Build strong relationships with heads of IT and act as the trusted security voice for the business
- Stay hands-on in your own domain, delivering risk assessments, security architecture reviews and security testing engagements
- Manage stakeholder escalations and balance team workload so delivery keeps moving
- Help evolve security policies, standards and guidelines as the business grows

What you’ll bring

- 7+ years in IT, risk or security, including 2+ years in consulting
- Proven experience leading,



motivating and developing high-performing security teams
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, risk assessment methods and technical security solutions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence working alongside senior technology leaders
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CRISC are highly desirable
