The Role

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Senior Product Owner to take ownership of specialised digital products supporting complex mining operations.

As the stand-alone Senior Product Owner for this portfolio in Australia, you'll have significant autonomy across product direction, roadmap and priorities, connecting the needs of Australian customers and field teams with global development teams.

This isn't a Senior Product Owner role focused solely on managing a backlog. You'll combine strategic product ownership with hands-on engagement across customers, users and development teams, staying close to how the technology performs in real operational environments.

You Will

- Own and evolve the product roadmap, priorities and development requirements across a specialised digital product portfolio.
- Engage directly with mining customers and field teams, translating complex operational challenges into clear software and product requirements.
- Partner with global development teams to align priorities, influence delivery and keep stakeholders connected to product direction.
- Coordinate release testing, user acceptance testing and product rollout activities.
- Act as a key contact for customers and field teams, providing initial triage and driving product issues through to resolution.
- Work autonomously across competing priorities while maintaining robust collaboration with technical, operational and customer stakeholders.

The position is Brisbane based and includes travel to mine sites, anticipated at approximately 20% initially.

What You'll Bring

You may come from mining technology, fleet management, heavy equipment, transport or logistics technology, industrial software, engineering technology or another complex B2B software environment. What matters is that you understand genuine software product ownership and can operate confidently between customers, operations, engineering and development teams.

- You must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance culture.
- Demonstrated experience owning software or technology products, including requirements, roadmap and prioritisation.
- Experience within a technical, engineering or complex operational software environment. Mining technology experience will be highly regarded, but isn't the only background we're considering.
- Strong stakeholder capability, with the confidence to engage customers and operational teams while partnering effectively with software developers and technical specialists.
- An engineering qualification or equivalent technical background, together with an autonomous, collaborative and continuous-improvement mindset.
