BEC is looking for a Senior Structural Draftsperson to join our Engineering & Design (Structural) team. You’ll produce high-quality structural and multidisciplinary BIM models, work closely with our engineers, and help set the standard for our digital delivery.

What you’ll be doing

- Building and maintaining structural BIM models, drawings, schedules and details
- Turning engineers’ sketches and mark-ups into accurate, coordinated documentation
- Coordinating with architectural and other discipline models, and resolving clashes




- Working with the BIM Manager on Revit families, templates and standards
- Guiding and checking the work of junior technicians and designers
- Preparing as-built documentation and helping with RFIs and shop drawing reviews
- Water-retaining & Aquatic structures
- Site inspections
- Documentation QA

What you’ll bring

- A certificate or diploma in drafting, design or engineering
- Experience in a senior BIM or drafting role, mainly on structural projects
- Advanced Revit and AutoCAD skills, plus experience with Navisworks and Autodesk Construction Cloud
- Strong knowledge of drafting standards, steel and concrete detailing, and BIM workflows
- A sharp eye for detail and good time management
- Clear communication, and comfortable working on your own or in a team environment
