The Role – Duty Manager
We're seeking experienced, motivated and passionate Duty Managers to support hospitality operations across regional Australia.
This is an exciting opportunity for confident hospitality professionals who can lead teams, deliver exceptional customer service and help keep busy venues running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily venue operations and ensure smooth service.
- Lead, support and motivate front-of-house and bar teams.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and handle customer enquiries professionally.
- Assist with staff supervision, shift coordination and operational duties.
- Monitor venue presentation, cleanliness and compliance with relevant procedures.
- Manage customer complaints and resolve issues calmly and effectively.




- Follow responsible service of alcohol requirements and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Support management with stock control, cash handling and reporting where required.
- Maintain high standards during busy service periods.
- Be flexible to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Requirements We're looking for candidates who have:

- Previous experience in a Duty Manager, Assistant Manager or similar hospitality leadership role.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and the ability to manage a team confidently.
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A qualified, reliable and adaptable attitude.
- Current RSA certification and any other relevant licences or qualifications required for the role.
- Flexibility to travel and work in regional locations.
- Full and unrestricted Australian working rights.

Applicants must be willing and able to obtain a National Police Check. Where specified, this must be current and dated within the last 12 months.

Desirable Experience

- Experience in pubs, taverns, roadhouses, hotels or regional venues.
- Experience with bar operations, gaming or accommodation services where applicable.
- Knowledge of stock management, cash handling and venue reporting.




- Experience managing staff rosters and coordinating shifts.
- Previous experience working in regional or remote Australia.
