About the role

We are seeking a Shop Operator / Sales Person to join our team at our North Lakes and Chermside locations in Queensland. This is a full-time position where you will be at the heart of our operations, delivering outstanding customer service and driving sales. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day shop activities, assisting customers with their enquiries, and ensuring our store operates smoothly and efficiently.

This role is ideal for someone who is customer-focused, enthusiastic, and eager to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

- Provide exceptional customer service to all clients, understanding their needs and recommending appropriate products and services

- Operate the till and process transactions accurately and efficiently

- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming shop environment

- Assist with stock management, including receiving, displaying, and monitoring inventory levels

- Promote and sell key cutting, shoe repair, and personalisation services to customers

- Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner





- Support the shop manager with opening and closing procedures

- Contribute to achieving sales targets and business objectives

- Maintain knowledge of current products, services, and promotions

What we're looking for

- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers

- Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering excellent service

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Cash handling and basic numeracy skills
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn current skills

- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required

- Enthusiasm for retail and a genuine interest in customer satisfaction
