The opportunity

Working closely with company leadership and our established team, you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of our commercial construction projects while providing support across broader operational activities.

Your responsibilities will include

- Taking ownership of the day-to-day management and successful delivery of commercial construction projects.

- Leading and coordinating site teams, subcontractors, trades and suppliers.

- Managing construction programs, resource allocation and project milestones.

- Maintaining high standards across safety, quality, workmanship and productivity.

- Working closely with project management to monitor budgets, project costs, variations and overall performance.

- Assisting with the planning, scheduling and coordination of resources across multiple projects.

- Supporting procurement, subcontractor engagement and construction methodology.

- Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency, systems and processes.

- Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams.

- Supporting company leadership with operational planning and the continued growth of the construction division.

About you

We're looking for an experienced construction professional who combines strong technical knowledge with a positive attitude and genuine leadership capability.

Ideally, you'll bring:

- Proven experience managing commercial construction projects.

- A strong trade or construction management background, with sound technical knowledge across all stages of construction.

- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, coordinate subcontractors and deliver projects successfully.

- Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.

- Sound commercial awareness, including project budgets, programming,



procurement and cost management.

- The ability to manage competing priorities and contribute across multiple projects.

- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with clients, consultants and subcontractors.

- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and willingness to take ownership.

- A collaborative leadership style, with the ability to support and develop those around you.

Experience in construction operations, multi-project coordination or broader business management would be highly regarded.
