The Role

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Supervisor / Manager to join our team in the Wide Bay-Burnett region. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of our building and construction projects by leading, supervising and coordinating day-to-day site activities.

You will work closely with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with the construction program, quality requirements and project specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate day-to-day construction activities across project sites.

- Supervise, direct and coordinate trades, subcontractors, materials and deliveries to maintain construction programs.

- Prepare clear and accurate short-term look-ahead programs.

- Monitor site progress and proactively address issues that may impact program, quality or project outcomes.





- Coordinate and help resolve design and construction issues as they arise.

- Work closely with the Project Manager to support the successful delivery of projects.

- Maintain a strong focus on HSEQ, ensuring site activities comply with legislative, project and Bryant requirements.

- Conduct site inspections, pre-starts, toolbox talks and other required site activities.

- Provide leadership and mentoring to site personnel, and promote a positive, professional and safety-focused site culture.

- Co-ordinate and assist with design/construction issues

About You

- Minimum five years' experience in a similar role in the building and construction industry.

- Demonstrated experience supervising and coordinating commercial construction projects

- Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building) or equivalent.

- Current QBCC Supervisor Licence.

- Strong leadership and people management skills.

- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings.

- Ability to manage site activities to program and maintain high standards of workmanship.

- Strong understanding of construction site safety, quality and compliance requirements.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with project teams, subcontractors, clients and other stakeholders.

- Experience delivering social housing, education, and new builds will be highly regarded

- Experience with Hammertech and Procore preferred.
