About the role

Robinvale District Health Services' is seeking a skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our team in Robinvale, Victoria. As a Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients' holistic well-being and helping them navigate complex social and health-related challenges. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the local community.

What you'll be doing

- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' social, emotional, and practical needs

- Develop and implement tailored care plans to address clients' needs, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team

- Provide counselling, advocacy, and support to clients and their families

- Facilitate group programs and workshops to promote well-being and social connectedness

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community organisations to ensure a coordinated approach to client care

- Maintain detailed client records and contribute to the continuous improvement of our social work services

What we're looking for

- Tertiary qualification in Social Work or a related field

- Registration with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)

- Demonstrated experience in a social work or similar role, preferably within the healthcare or community services sector

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds

- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills,



with a focus on delivering client-centred care

- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the organisation and the community
