Palliative Care Physician – Registrar/PHO (Palliative Care Medicine) Reference: 210929
Location:
Metropolitan ACT Hospital Contract dates: 02 June 2026 to 14 June 2026, and 20 July 2026 to 26 July 2026. Hourly rate: AUD 160. On‑call days: additional AUD 160 per day.
Requirements:
Completed DHR training in advance; registered with AHPRA; right to work in Australia. Responsibilities
- Primarily work in the Home‑Based Palliative Care Service alongside specialist nurses, a nurse practitioner and a palliative care specialist.
- Provide on‑call remote telephone support and remote charting for patients in the 20‑bed inpatient palliative care unit. Specialist support is available during all on‑call periods.
