About the role

DHA Rural Sales is seeking a Store Person to join our team in Torrington, QLD. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in the effective operation of our warehousing and distribution centre. As Store Person, you will be responsible for managing inventory, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring our warehouse operates smoothly and safely

. Your contribution will be essential to supporting our supply chain operations and ensuring our customers receive their orders promptly and accurately.

Key responsibilities

- Receiving, checking and processing incoming goods and materials
- Storing items in designated locations according to warehouse procedures and safety protocols
- Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock levels
- Operating warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks, where qualified
- Organising and maintaining the warehouse environment to ensure it remains clean, safe and compliant with health and safety regulations
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and carefully
- Performing stock takes and assisting with inventory audits
- Following company procedures and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
- Liaising with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient warehouse operations

What we're looking for

- Previous experience working in a warehouse, distribution centre or similar storage environment
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks regularly




- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and inventory management
- Ability to work safely and follow health and safety procedures at all times
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
- Team player mentality with good communication skills
- Reliability and consistent attendance
- Willingness to learn and operate warehouse equipment (forklift certification is advantageous)
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
