About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and analytical Supply Chain & Inventory Administration Coordinator to support inventory management, reporting, supplier engagement, and business improvement initiatives across our operations. This role offers excellent exposure to supply chain analytics, stock management, procurement administration, and stakeholder engagement within a quick-paced retail environment. You will be working on the Coles Expenses Account, (portfolio of 2000 SKUs)

The successful candidate will play a key role in monitoring inventory performance, producing reports, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting ongoing data and process improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Weekly Reporting as required including graphs, pivot tables, trend analysis and insights ahead of business unit meetings.
- Proactively investigate risks and identify possible solutions

- Report on analysis of weekly store ordering trends

- Review pallet utilisation reports to:
- Identify slow-moving inventory

- Highlight growth opportunities

- Monitor increases in pallet holdings

- Track and monitor high-risk inventory items, reporting on spend and usage trends.

- Support Accounts processes by
- Following up suppliers on outstanding invoices

- Investigating purchase order discrepancies

- Liaise with suppliers regarding DIFOT, obtaining updated delivery schedules and escalating risks where necessary.

- Assist the SSC team by collecting product samples and taking item photographs as required.

- Develop supplier forecasts and usage reports.

- Extract and analyse operational data to support business requirements.





- Participate in store visits alongside SSC team members to understand operational challenges and support improvement initiatives.

- Provide general administrative support across supply chain and inventory functions.

Project Work A key project component of this role will involve supporting the:

- Identify and report SKU discrepancies

- Improve data quality and reporting accuracy across systems

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including:
- Pivot Tables

- VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP

- Charts and Graphs

- Conditional Formatting

- Data Analysis and Reporting

- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.

- Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage suppliers and stakeholders.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

- An interest in supply chain, inventory management, procurement, logistics, or business analytics.

- Retail experience highly recommended, but not necessary.
