About the Role

As the Retail Manager, you will be responsible for the overall day-to-day management of the store. You will ensure operational efficiency, optimize sales performance, and maintain a safe and welcoming setting for both staff and customers.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all daily store operations, ensuring the store is visually appealing and correctly merchandised

Recruit, train, roster, and lead retail staff to achieve performance goals and uphold company standards

Set and drive sales targets, monitoring financial performance and implementing strategies to maximize profitability

Manage inventory levels, coordinate stock ordering, conduct regular stocktakes, and minimize shrinkage

Resolve customer complaints, inquiries, and issues promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction





Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring a secure environment for all employees and patrons

Prepare and analyze regular sales and operational reports for senior management

Manage labor budgets and optimize staff scheduling to align with peak trading hours

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in a Retail Manager, Store Manager, or similar leadership role

Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, sales targets, and labor costs

Excellent leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff

Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities

Strong inventory management and visual merchandising skills

Solid understanding of occupational health and safety standards in a retail environment
