CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES

1 x Electrical Fitter – Nowergup | Ongoing Day Shift

- $62.44/hr + Penalties

- Additional Electrical Allowance: $35.82 per week

- Ongoing Monday–Friday day shift work

- Hours: 6:00am–2:30pm

- Initially based at Nowergup, with a planned transition to Bellevue in 2027

- Ideal for electricians seeking consistent daytime hours and long-term stability

3 x Electrical Fitters – Nowergup | Rotating Roster

- Day Shift: $62.44/hr + Penalties

- Night Shift: $74.92/hr + Day Shift Penalties

- Additional Electrical Allowance: $35.82 per week

- Rotating day and night shift roster

- Initially based at Nowergup, transitioning to Bellevue in 2027

- Excellent long-term opportunity within the rail maintenance industry

2 x Electrical Fitters – Claisebrook | Rotating Roster

- Day Shift: $62.44/hr + Penalties

- Night Shift: $74.92/hr + Day Shift Penalties

- Based at Claisebrook, East Perth

ABOUT THE ROLE

You'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing passenger trains (EMUs and DMUs), ensuring they operate safely, efficiently and reliably.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and servicing

- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on passenger trains

- Conduct inspections, testing and fault-finding on electrical systems

- Carry out breakdown repairs and unscheduled maintenance

- Inspect and assess electrical components and equipment

- Complete maintenance tasks in accordance with technical manuals and safety procedures

ROSTER INFORMATION

Nowergup – 1 Position | Ongoing Day Shift

- Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm

- Ongoing day shift arrangement

- Transition to Bellevue facility in 2027

Nowergup – 3 Positions | Rotating Roster

- Rotating day and night shift roster

- Initially based at Nowergup





- Transition to Bellevue facility in 2027

- Ongoing opportunities with long-term career prospects

Claisebrook – 2 Positions | Rotating Roster

Rotating 8-hour day and night shifts.

Roster: N1, D, N2, D, N1, D, D

- N1: Sunday–Friday, 6:30pm–2:30am

- D: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm

- N2: Sunday 4:00pm–12:00am; Monday–Thursday 6:30pm–2:30am; Friday 4:00pm–12:00am

- D: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm

- N1 (later rotation): Monday–Friday, 6:30pm–2:30am

- D: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm

- D: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Current Electrical Licence – Essential

- Current Driver's Licence

- Proven electrical workshop, maintenance or fault-finding experience

- Experience with mobile equipment, heavy machinery or industrial electrical systems highly regarded

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

- Ability to work independently and within a team

- Reliable, safety-focused and adaptable

- Willingness to complete a 1–2 week onboarding process

- Ability to pass a rail medical, including drug and alcohol testing

Rail experience is advantageous, but electricians with transferable maintenance skills are strongly encouraged to apply!
