Amata Anangu School is located in the western Musgrave Ranges in the far northwest of South Australia, approximately 500 kilometres southwest of Alice Springs. The Amata community has approximately 350 residents and includes a general store and a clinic.
Amata Anangu School is a bilingual school where Pitjantjatjara and English are used in teaching and learning. Anangu and non-Anangu staff work together to support students across two languages and cultures. Teaching and learning are guided by the South Australian Curriculum and the Anangu Bilingual Education Policy. Teachers work collaboratively with Anangu Educators and colleagues to support student learning.

- Describe a specific example of how you have worked collaboratively with colleagues to support student learning. What were the different roles and contributions of those involved, how did you address any challenges, and what was the impact on student learning?
- What challenges might you anticipate when teaching in a remote bilingual school such as Amata? Explain how you would approach learning about the local context, building relationships with Anangu staff and families, and adapting your teaching practice in response.
- Describe how you use assessment data and other evidence to identify student learning needs, plan differentiated learning experiences and monitor progress. Provide an example of how you have adjusted your teaching in response to evidence that students were not making the expected progress.
