Trainer and Assessor | 4/3 Roster | Pilbara

Great prospect to work on Mine Sites in Western Australia. We are currently seeking an experienced Trainer and Assessor to join our Team on a 2-month contract covering a period of leave.

The Role The role involves delivering and assessing Manual Handling Training to facilities and cleaning crews across FM mining sites in the Pilbara, including Paraburdoo, Tom Price, Marandoo and Western Turner Syncline 1 & 2. You will report directly to the HSET Superintendent and HSET Manager.

Duties include:

- Delivering and assessing Manual Handling Training, mainly for mine site cleaners
- Coordinating and scheduling training sessions across multiple sites
- Maintaining accurate training records and reports
- Communicating effectively with crew members, supervisors and clients
- Supporting the HSET team with site safety and training requirements

Requirements:

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE)
- Proven hands-on experience delivering Manual Handling Training, ideally to mine site cleaners or facilities crews




- Current Rio Tinto induction (essential)
- Valid, full Australian driver’s licence
- Available to start immediately

Highly regarded:

- Diploma or Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (WHS)
