We provide an integrated, end-to-end freight solution, combining wharf and container transport services with warehousing, container packing and unpacking, and LCL distribution.

With exciting growth across all areas of our business, we are looking for a motivated and organised Transport Scheduler / Container Allocator to join our Operations Team.

About the Role

This is a key operational role responsible for the daily allocation and scheduling of container transport services, ensuring deliveries are completed on time, fleet resources are efficiently utilised, and customer requirements are consistently met.

Working collaboratively with our Operations Team, drivers, customers and industry partners, you will help develop, monitor and maintain accurate transport schedules while ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations, NHVAS requirements and customer-specific procedures.

We are looking for someone who takes ownership, identifies opportunities for improvement and is committed to establishing and maintaining best-practice transport planning processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily container allocations and transport scheduling.

- Develop and maintain efficient schedules to maximise fleet utilisation.

- Monitor vehicle availability and allocate resources to meet operational demands.

- Coordinate with drivers, customers, wharf operators and internal teams to ensure timely service delivery.

- Monitor transport activities and proactively manage scheduling changes or operational challenges.

- Ensure compliance with relevant transport regulations, industry standards and customer requirements.





- Maintain accurate scheduling records and operational documentation.

- Build strong working relationships with customers, drivers and key stakeholders.

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the development of best-practice operational procedures.

- Support a high level of customer service, operational efficiency and team accountability.

What We Are Looking For The successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of transport operations, excellent organisational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Ideally, you will have:

- Strong knowledge and experience within the transport and logistics industry.

- Previous experience in transport scheduling, logistics coordination, fleet planning or container allocation.

- Exposure to wharf cartage and container transport operations (highly regarded).

- Knowledge of NHVAS Mass Management requirements (advantageous).

- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing workloads.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with drivers, customers and colleagues.

- A customer-focused approach and a commitment to service excellence.

- High attention to detail and strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

- Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook.

- The ability to work collaboratively within a team while taking ownership of individual responsibilities.
