We’re looking for a recent graduate who likes getting things right, enjoys working through detail and wants to learn how investment portfolios are run behind the scenes.

You don’t need an accounting degree or a CA/CPA qualification but one will be helpful. If you’re organised, careful with numbers and enjoy figuring out why something doesn’t add up, we’ll teach you the rest.

The role

You’ll join our internal accounting and reporting team and help keep client investment records accurate, complete and up to date. You’ll be trained and supported by experienced team members, and you’ll work alongside our advisers, operations team and the external accountants who rely on our reporting.

Your day-to-day work will include:

- Processing investment transactions, income and distributions
- Reconciling client portfolios and accounts against bank and broker records
- Reviewing data and reports for accuracy before they go out
- Investigating discrepancies and working out how to fix them
- Following up missing information with clients, providers and external accountants
- Maintaining and organising client and investment documentation
- Keeping our systems and records up to date, including Class and other investment platforms
- Supporting the team with general administration across the reporting cycle
- Suggesting ways to make our processes faster, simpler and more reliable

This isn’t a role where you just push paper.



You’ll be trusted to spot problems, chase them down and help us improve the way we work.

About you

You’ll have recently completed or working towards completing a degree in any discipline. Business, finance, commerce, economics, maths and science are all welcome, but so is anything else if you have the right skills. We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Have robust attention to detail and take pride in accurate work;
- Are well organised and can manage several tasks at once;
- Are comfortable working with numbers and spreadsheets (good Excel skills are a plus);
- Enjoy problem solving;
- Communicate clearly in writing and over the phone;
- Pick up new systems and processes quickly.

Experience in admin, data entry, customer service or any financial services setting, (including part-time work or internships), is a bonus but not essential.
