The Family:
A lovely family in Gelorup is seeking a caring and reliable nanny to support their two children, aged 6 years and 8 months. Their 6-year-old is homeschooled, so they are looking for someone who enjoys engaging children in activities, supporting their learning and creating a positive workplace at home.
The family has limited family support nearby and would love to welcome the right person into their village. They are hoping to find someone who is looking for a long-term position and who can become a trusted and valued part of their family’s everyday life. They are looking for a warm, nurturing and dependable nanny who genuinely enjoys building meaningful relationships with both children and parents.
The household also includes two dogs and a cat, so a genuine love of animals is essential!
Days, Hours, Start Date & Remuneration:

- 2–3 days per week
- 4 hours per shift
- Start date: To be confirmed
- Remuneration: Negotiable based on experience

The Role:




The role will involve caring for both children, supporting their daily routines and planning age-appropriate activities that encourage play, learning and development. The nanny will also support the 6-year-old with engaging activities throughout the day, alongside providing attentive and nurturing care for the baby.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, organised, warm and proactive, with a genuine interest in building a long-term relationship with the family. They should be comfortable in a home with multiple pets and enjoy becoming part of a family’s support network.
Requirements:

- Previous nanny or childcare experience
- Current Working With Children Check
- National Police Clearance
- Current First Aid qualification, including infant CPR
- Two child-related references
- A genuine love of animals and comfort around dogs and cats
- A genuine interest in a long-term position
