About the Company

Our client is a well-established and highly regarded residential builder with a strong reputation for delivering quality homes across South East Queensland.
With a solid pipeline of projects, a supportive management team and a commitment to quality construction, they are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead their Standard Homes division across the Sunshine Coast to Caboolture region. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven construction leader looking to take ownership of a busy residential construction portfolio and make a genuine impact on team performance and project delivery.

About the Role

Reporting to senior management, you will oversee a team of approximately 5 Construction Supervisors, each managing around 15 residential builds at various stages of construction. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards, while supporting and developing your team to achieve operational targets.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who understands residential construction, enjoys mentoring Supervisors and has the commercial ability to drive performance across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor and manage a team of approximately 5 Construction Supervisors.
- Oversee a portfolio of approximately 75 residential homes across the region.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to quality standards.
- Monitor construction schedules, site progress, trade availability and resources.
- Manage project costs, budgets,



margins, variations and financial performance.
- Drive team accountability, performance, KPIs and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with QBCC requirements, building codes and WHS regulations.
- Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, clients and internal teams.

Skills & Experience
- Minimum 10 years' experience in residential construction, including construction management and leadership.
- Proven experience managing multiple Construction Supervisors and high-volume residential builds.
- Current QBCC Site Supervisor Licence and Construction White Card.
- Solid knowledge of residential construction processes, NCC/BCA requirements and building regulations.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop and hold teams accountable.
- Proficient in construction management software, Microsoft Office and reporting systems.
