Position Overview
CAV Air Services Pty Ltd provides air conditioning installation, maintenance and mechanical ventilation services across residential, commercial and industrial projects. Based in Caringbah, our team services Greater Sydney, the Illawarra and other NSW locations.

We are seeking a qualified Airconditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic to carry out day-to-day installation, servicing and repairs of air conditioning systems and associated refrigeration components. You will work alongside our team to keep systems operating safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Follow drawings, specifications and work instructions to prepare for installation and servicing work.
- Install air conditioning units, mounting brackets, refrigerant pipes, fittings and associated components.
- Connect pipework using appropriate joining and brazing methods, and check connections for leaks.




- Pressure-test and evacuate systems, and handle refrigerant within the scope of the required licence.
- Test system operation, check pressures and temperatures, and make basic control adjustments.
- Carry out routine servicing, identify common faults and repair or replace faulty components.
- Record work completed and follow workplace safety and site procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

- Revant trade qualification in air conditioning and refrigeration, or a recognised equivalent.
- At least one year of relevant experience in air conditioning installation, servicing and repairs.
- Ability to follow technical drawings and use standard trade tools and testing equipment.
- Relevant licences or registrations required for the work performed.
- A practical approach, reliable work habits and the ability to work well within a team.
- Current driver's licence and Construction White Card, with willingness to travel to project sites.

Salary: $79,423 to $81,000 per annum plus superannuation, based on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time position for a 38-hour work week.
