About the Role

WestLink Workforce is seeking experienced Boilermakers for an upcoming shutdown running from 9-18 November 2026.

This is a excellent opportunity for qualified Boilermakers with previous FIFO experience to join a shutdown team working within Western Australia's mining and resources sector. With competitive hourly rates and the potential for ongoing work across future projects, this is an opportunity to put your skills to work and build a relationship with a supportive team.

Positions offer FIFO or DIDO options from Perth, depending on project requirements.

Candidates must be available for the full shutdown period from 9-18 November 2026. Previous FIFO experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out boilermaking, fabrication and repair work as required.
- Perform maintenance tasks in line with site procedures and safety requirements.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and housekeeping.
- Work collaboratively with the site team to meet shutdown schedules.

What We're Looking For

- Relevant Australian-recognised Boilermaker trade qualification.
- Previous experience in mining, resources or shutdown environments.
- Current Confined Space certification.
- Current Working at Heights certification.




- Gas Test Atmospheres and First Attack Fire certifications.
- Construction White Card.
- Previous FIFO experience.
- Ability to pass pre-employment Drug and Alcohol screening.
- Full availability for the shutdown period, 9-18 November 2026.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
