The essential requirements for this role are: * Previous experience in relevant trade (Carpentry and Joinery, Engineering related discipline ie Boilermaker or Sheetmetal, Horticulture or Chef) * Experience in leading with the ability to motivate and encourage others to meet the challenges of demanding work roles * Experience and understanding of case management in a human services field * Experience in managing resources * Problem solving * Networking skills * Risk management * Case management skills * Conflict resolution * Computer and keyboard skills * Communication skills * Ability to liaise with people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds Qualifications, skilled registration, conditions and other requirements * Must already be an accredited Custodial Correctional Officer and possess a current Certificate III in Correctional Practices. * Certificate IV in Correctional Practice is a prerequisite for appointment to the role of Correctional Supervisor.
