Bellbird Park State Secondary College (BPSSC) opened in January 2017 and our inaugural year 12 cohort graduated in 2022.
There are currently 1850 students enrolled at BPSSC. Our vision is: At BPSSC we nurture students to be resilient and ambitious participants in their own futures and communities.

As the Head of Department for Performing Arts, you will play a vital role in: * Leading the Performing Arts department in line with school expectations and initiatives * Participating in delivering the vision of Brighter Futures * Developing the quality of teaching and learning * Nurturing positive relationships between students,



teachers and stakeholders * Overseeing extra-curricular opportunities within the Performing Arts such as: Instrumental Music Program, Dance programs, School Musicals The ideal applicant should have a strong working knowledge of the Australian Curriculum in the Arts Learning Areas and associated QCAA Senior Syllabuses. They will also have experience in moderation, assessment and reporting guidelines and practices, particularly as they relate to the implementation of the 7-10 Australian Curriculum and Senior Phase of Learning.
