Description

As a Senior Consultant within the firm’s Governance and Risk Advisory division, you will lead and deliver risk-based internal audits, assess internal controls, and guide junior team members. You will be responsible for supporting the management and delivery of projects across a range of internal audit, governance, compliance and risk advisory services from start to finish.
In this role you will provide internal and external stakeholders with exceptional client service, ensuring all work prepared by you is high quality and delivered in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting), Bachelor of Business or a similar undergraduate degree
- Working towards a professional qualification such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) or equivalent
- At least 3 years' experience in industry or qualified services, with an emphasis on risk, compliance, governance, internal audit or external audit
- Prior experience in health, education, government, aged care or not-for-profit is highly regarded
- Valid Working with Children Check

Technical Knowledge and Capabilities
- Understanding of governance, risk and compliance (GRC) frameworks, internal controls and data analysis
- Strong executive reporting skills, with the verbal and written ability to present clear recommendations
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and budget constraints at the same time
- Strong knowledge of, and exposure to, the Microsoft Office suite of products
