Osteria Polpo is an Italian restaurant with an emphasis on Northern Italian cuisine and the cicchetti of Venice. Beautifully located at the picturesque East Terrace with magnificent views of the parklands.

Open for lunch and dinner 5 days a week with plans to expand to other possibilities within the venue. Must be available to work week days, week nights and particularly weekends. Approximately 20-25 hours per week available with the opportunity for more hours with the expansion.

Candidates must be available to work both weekend days and nights as weekend availability is particularly significant for this role.

Applicants must hold a valid work visa or have appropriate Australian work rights. Minimum 1+ years of hospitality experience is required for this position with demonstrated skills in table service. Bar skills, cocktail making, wine knowledge and coffee making skills definitely an advantage. Past experience in restaurants also a big advantage.

Candidates must demonstrate basic order taking skills as part of their table service capabilities.

Candidates should be self motivated, have a passion for the industry and be of neat appearance.
