Our firm is a friendly, dynamic and progressive boutique CPA Accounting Practice located in Northbridge, providing taxation, SMSF, business services and bookkeeping services to our diverse range of clients.

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team to assist us with the growth of clients in our busy practice.

This position is available on a full-time basis (5 days per week). The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day bookkeeping tasks for a variety of clients.

Primary Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

- Ongoing bookkeeping for a small number of clients using MYOB and Xero.

- Preparation of monthly Instalment Activity Statements

- Preparation of monthly and quarterly Business Activity Statements

- Processing of payroll including superannuation payments

- Preparing and lodging payroll tax returns

- Preparation of accounts to trial balance, including accounts payable and receivables, bank and credit card reconciliations

- Preparing month end reports.

- Ad-hoc office/administration duties as required





The Ideal Candidate Requirements:

- Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and applications.

- Experience using MYOB and Xero an advantage.

- Excellent attention to detail, reconciliation skills, accuracy with data entry and good record-keeping skills.

- Excellent multi-tasking, time management and communication skills.

- Ability to work in a team environment.

- Cert IV Bookkeeping certification or equivalent highly regarded.
